This young teenager is currently living away from home following the death of a long-term carer, an event that has had a profound impact on their sense of stability and security. Due to ongoing safety concerns within the family environment, returning home is not an option, placing them at ongoing risk of homelessness without continued support. While temporary accommodation has been arranged, they are experiencing significant financial hardship and do not have access to the basic material items needed to fully participate in school and everyday life.
Brokerage support is needed for this young person to access everyday opportunities that many young people take for granted, yet without support, this young person risks missing out and becoming increasingly isolated and disadvantaged. Your contribution will help ensure they can remain engaged in education, build positive social connections, and move forward with dignity, stability, and hope during an incredibly challenging time.
