Youth Place is a non-for-profit program that supports young parents, aged 15-25, who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness into supported transitional housing. This includes providing practical support through case management and advocacy to help young parents thrive.
We are currently working with a 19-year-old couple and their 7-week-old twin children, tyhey have been offered a Youth Place property and will be moving in as soon as possible. Youth Place properties come unfurnished and we are asking for your support to provide household items for the young family to furnish their new home.
The young family have been couchsurfing and have not had a stable home to live in previously, they do not have any household items with them and Youth Place are seeking donated items to help them create a comfortable and nurturing environment to raise their two children in.
