Domestic & Family Violence
The client is an adult woman with a disability who has experienced domestic and community violence, including financial abuse. She is in the recovery phase and actively working to rebuild safety, stability, and independence. Following the violence, the client incurred significant costs to secure and re-establish her home, resulting in financial hardship and difficulty meeting essential needs. She is engaging with community supports and progressing through the NDIS access process. Access to a reliable mobile phone with internet is essential for appointments, online banking, and service engagement. Assistance with essential clothing will support dignity, wellbeing, and recovery. This support will assist the client to maintain stability while progressing through recovery and disability support pathways.

How it's helped before

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.

Thank you for your generous gesture & much needed support GIVIT.
