Mum is struggling financially due to experiencing financial abuse from father of children who is also perpetrating emotional abuse, therefore Mum is finding it difficult to get him to leave. This also creates an extra cost for Mum with him being there and not contributing financially to household costs or for the children.
Mum receives minimal income from Centrelink and has little family supports. Mum now has her disabled 60 year old Aunty in her care due to family conflict. This now increases the cost of daily essentials as Mum receives no extra financial benefits for her caring role until a court date has been set and care transferred over.
All these stressors are significantly impacting mums mental wellbeing and there is concerns of decline in her health.
Safety plans and supports are in place to assist physically though financially Mum is struggling to meet needs of her family.
