Young person (YP) is returning to families care after experiencing significant adverse childhood experiences. YP has recently engaged in mental health care assessment, received diagnosis and has ongoing care plans in place being well supported. YP requires support for a fresh start in way of basic items and to personalise their bedroom so they are able to make this their safe space. YP requires clothing, under ware, home wares for bedroom and sleep wear etc. Any support in terms of cotton on vouchers will contribute to YP being able to have some autonomy and agency rather that rely on donations. A voucher would also cover most of the basic needed items. YP has limited experiences of being safely cared by adults so receiving support from their local community would strengthen a view their support team are trying to create - safe, kind adults will support YP without expecting anything in return from children/young people
