We are supporting a young mum who as experienced an unimaginable amount of trauma and continuous barriers for her maintaining housing stability and security. Fleeing a Domestic violence relationship whilst pregnant was a brave step for this young mum who has no family or friend support. After a period of homelessness, we have managed to find her long term accommodation to settle into whilst she prepares to welcome her baby earthside. This young mum is need of all the essentials required, in particular a pram, car seat (as she actively works towards getting her license), a bassinet/moses basket and the opportunity to buy her baby some new clothes, bottles, blankets etc. Any further support this young mum receives will significantly impact her life in an enormously positive way and further empower her as a woman and a mum that she is strong, brave and resilient and is capable of providing a safe, stable and secure home for her and her baby.
