We are currently seeking support to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Busselton area during Connections Week. Many people we will engage with are facing significant challenges, including financial hardship, family and domestic violence, mental health concerns, disability, and wider systemic disadvantage.
Throughout the week, we will connect with community members in a respectful and meaningful way, offering support while inviting them to share their experiences through a brief questionnaire. This will help provide a real-time picture of homelessness in the Busselton community and ensure that local responses are guided by the voices of those directly affected.
Funding will enable us to provide practical assistance such as food, vouchers, and essential items, while also ensuring that participant experiences remain central to the initiative.
