Christmas 2026
This mother of three relocated to Australia with her children to escape severe domestic and family violence. Despite taking significant steps to secure safety, the perpetrator continued to pursue and locate the family. The family has experienced significant trauma as a result of prolonged abuse. The impacts of these experiences continue to affect their wellbeing and recovery.
This mother is the primary carer for three children, all of whom have additional support needs. The family is currently experiencing significant financial and housing stress while working towards securing long-term stability. Following the loss of her employment, she is facing further challenges as she works to re-establish a safe and secure future for her children.
Despite these hardships, she remains committed to providing a stable environment where her children can feel safe, continue their recovery, and thrive. Community support during this critical period will help the family rebuild their lives with dignity.
