Support for people in need of intensive mental health care

Domestic & Family Violence
Our service has newly commenced to provide hospital level mental health support in people's homes. This enables people to return home sooner from hospital or avoid admission all together without forgoing access to intensive mental health support. In particular for those who are neurodivergent, of diverse cultural backgrounds, with diverse gender/sexual identities, or with other factors making hospital admission challenging, our team can ensure they still get essential care in the comfort of their home closer to chosen supports and family.
In the area we service there are multiple overlapping vulnerabilities and disadvantages including high rates of those from refugee/migrant backgrounds, those of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, unemployment, housing instability, financial hardship, family violence, survivors of abuse and trauma, addiction and membership to other marginalised groups. Donations will help us provide very needed material support to our consumers.
