17-yr-old, living in emergency motel & experiencing financial hardship, seeking support to make the space feel more "homey"

Our organisation is currently supporting a 17-year-old, who is in the care of Child Safety but has nil available foster or residential care placement to him; meaning that he is currently residing in emergency motel accommodation. Most of YP's Centrelink income is being spent on essentials (rental contribution, food) as the Department is not providing ongoing financial support beyond their rental contribution. Please seeking a $250 Big W voucher to buy YP a TV for the motel room as there are no current amenities within the room and as YP will be residing there for several more months, we are trying to make the space feel more like "his" in the interim as other accommodation options are limited until he turns 18.
