A chronically ill woman who lost everything in the 2022 floods continues to face severe and persistent health challenges. The disaster destroyed her home and stability, leaving her to rebuild her life while managing chronic illness and trauma, as well as financial strain being on a disability pension. Her situation has been worsened by ongoing domestic violence and declining mental and physical health. She is now living in a small trailer with no electricity or running water, struggling daily to meet even her most basic needs. She urgently requires a functional Annex as her current one was flood damaged and has holes/ leaks so she has nowhere to put her dining area or sit comfortably, and limited space to store her belongings. This would mean to world to this vulnerable woman who has experienced extensive hardship.
