GIVIT
Our service has commenced a Drama Club for Young Carers. Young Carers will develop a short play that allows them to explore the experiences associated with providing care. This allows young carers to build resilience and connections with people who have similar lived experiences. This provides opportunities for young carers to feel seen and heard in the community.
Our service is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Young Carers across Australia - children and young people who care for a family member with a disability, chronic or mental illness, substance use, or frail age. Through tailored support, resources, and programs, we ensure Young Carers are recognised, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Our vision is a world where every Young Carer is supported by someone who understands their unique challenges and is equipped with the tools and resources to help them thrive.
