This 43-year-old woman recently experienced homelessness after a significant decline in her mental health and the loss of her support network. Determined to rebuild her life, she reached out for help through the Royal Melbourne Hospital and continues to engage closely with both her mental health team and case management supports. Despite the challenges she has faced, she has attended every appointment and remains committed to her recovery.
She is a devoted mother of three who maintains a close relationship with her children and receives encouragement from her former partner. She has a strong history of successfully maintaining tenancies and is now working towards securing stable housing once again. Looking to the future with hope, she volunteers in her community and has the inspiring goal of studying social work next year so she can help others facing similar challenges.
