Year 10 student (with special needs, attends Special Ed school) who lives with a large number of various family members. He has no food for school - which is provided by the school during the term. Last holidays he was given $20 food voucher to be able to buy himself some food for the holidays. Staff have approached me today to see if there is some support for him to be able to buy food during the holiday time, and to buy tickets for the cinema for himself. The student catches the bus to school and home. The staff including the chaplain have provided him with seasonable clothing. He showers and changes at school each morning and afternoon.
