Lost everything during the 2025 Mid North Coast Floods
2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods
This family lost everything in the 2025 floods, including all of their belongings while renting. With no flood coverage under their contents insurance and ineligible for government grants, they have been left to navigate recovery on their own.
They are currently living between relatives’ homes and a caravan, doing their best to maintain stability during an incredibly uncertain time. Despite these challenges, they are working hard to rebuild and have begun the process of building a home much earlier than they were financially prepared for, simply to secure a safe place to live.
They continue to show resilience and determination as they try to create a stable future after significant loss and disruption.
