Client had worked most of his life and has only been unable to work after a workplace accident which had his hip and foot broken, client then suffered a stroke in 2021 and again in 2026.
The strokes have affected his brain and his speech.
Now his marriage has ended after 25 years the client is trying to re-establish himself in a one bed unit. He has only been able to access some furniture from the family home, and needs assistance for some necessities. The client spent the night before in hospital due to chest pains.
Client has only been granted a disability pension, and is trying to address his disabilities with NDIS but has not been successful. Client is dealing with his medical issues, finding a new home and processing his marriage breakdown.
