We have been providing a community laundry and shower service for over 8 years. This service is accessed by rough sleepers and community members who may be struggling due to the cost of living.
Hygiene is an important aspect of maintaining their physical and mental health, and more so during the current housing crisis.
Being clean makes everyone feel fresh and more invigorated, and can help those that struggle to access this basic right, feel more inclusive and dignified whilst in the community.
Rough sleepers and community members can use the facilities as many times as they require and are provided a meal and refreshments whilst attending, and if required, can discuss concerns with a support worker. We also provide towels, washing detergent and hygiene packs.
