We are seeking donations to support a Christmas gathering for Aboriginal women who participate in our weekly women’s group. There are approximately 25 women who have created a culturally safe and supportive environment.
The group provides a welcoming space for women to come together regularly, build connections, share experiences and strengthen their social and community supports. The Christmas gathering will provide an opportunity to celebrate the women, acknowledge their participation throughout the year and enjoy a positive end-of-year gathering together. The group consists of women who have experienced intergenerational trauma and some are from Stolen Generation.
Donations would assist with the cost of food, refreshments, small gifts and Christmas activities. Any contribution, whether financial or through donated goods or vouchers, would be greatly appreciated and will help us create a meaningful and enjoyable celebration for the women.
