Living with a neurological disability was never a barrier to mother providing a loving home, classroom and safety to children in need. Loved by many children she is now missed in playgroups and at home while she battles Cancer.
This cancer diagnosis, its physical impacts and consequences have meant she is no longer able to work in her role as a teacher leaving her without an income. With great determination has been catching the bus to and from treatment despite her complex disabilities to save money, but it is coming at the expense of her strength which further limited her abilities to cook, clean or just play with the children.
Your generosity and support will help this mum to meet the needs of her children (shelter/food etc.), which will, in turn, reduce financial stress and need to make compromises that leave her suffering. Giving this mum back her precious time and energy that can be redirected to connection and play to her children.
