This young person has been experiencing homelessness since age 15 when he experienced significant family conflict and violence. They have spent time sleeping in parks, train stations and other areas as well as couch surfing with various friends where possible. They will be moving into supported youth accommodation in the next few days, however have very limited personal belongings such as toiletries and clothes due to being on the streets for so long. They are hoping this will be a chance to stabilize and have a safe space to work on their goals such as enrolling in a bricklaying course.
