We are currently supporting a young mum in the Growing Together program who has identified a passion for baking and cake decorating as part of her personal goals. For her, this is about much more than learning a new hobby, it is about building confidence, developing life skills, improving mental wellbeing, and creating positive experiences for both herself and her child. Like many young parents entering our program, access to opportunities for creativity, identity, and self-development can be limited by financial hardship. With the right support and equipment, she hopes to develop her baking skills further and explore cake decorating as something that brings joy, purpose, and a sense of achievement. We are seeking donations or vouchers to assist with purchasing beginner cake decorating and baking equipment, ingredients, and learning resources.
