A mum and her four children are currently living in a camper trailer, after losing their rental and being unable to secure a new home. Her eldest child has had to move away due to the overcrowded conditions, adding further stress to the family’s situation. Despite the challenges, Mum has secured work to help save for a future rental, all while paying $455 a week at a caravan park where they must soon move on from. The site has no safe drinking water, and although they have electricity, they have no fridge, forcing her to buy food daily—a cost-of-living burden that makes it nearly impossible to get ahead. With nothing left for Christmas presents, the struggle is constant, yet all the children continue attending school every day and are thriving as best they can under incredibly tough circumstances.
