We work on site providing case management for families and individuals experiencing Homelessness. Many have come from domestic violence, have complex mental health or experience substance use and/or recovery. Our clients reside in a standard motel room in close confines to others. The surrounding space is car park with the exception of the rear area which has an inground pool filled with poor quality soil. Mum's take their kids out their young people take their external supports there others go there to have space. It is not a great area and we would like to improve the overall atmosphere of the site. Our clients are financially stressed and rely on food hubs so to address this and support our clients, we would like to create a family friendly/community garden for our families to utilise. We aim to make it sustainable, mulching for water conservation, seasonal vegetables and fruit, and provide a space to relax with chairs and table. Thankyou in advance
