Women’s Refuge, support extends far beyond the provision of emergency accommodation. The refuge provides a safe, culturally respectful and trauma-informed environment for women and children experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, family and domestic violence. The service responds to individuals and families at some of the most vulnerable and critical points in their lives, often when they have limited support, financial resources or safe housing options available to them.

is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing safe accommodation and support for women and children experiencing family and domestic violence across the Gascoyne region. As a community-based service, the refuge relies heavily on funding support, grants and community contributions to maintain a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment for clients. The refuge is currently seeking support to purchase new bedding and linen to improve the comfort, wellbeing and dignity of women and children.
