43 year old woman living with the long-term effects of a brain injury sustained in 2000. She is supported through the NDIS and experiences depression and multiple ongoing medical conditions, which significantly impact her ability to maintain employment. Although she has worked intermittently since her injury, she is currently unable to work.
She is experiencing financial hardship. After paying for rent and food, she has only around $100 per week remaining to cover all other living expenses. Rising living costs have made it increasingly difficult for her to make ends meet. In addition, she is undertaking further study to improve her future employment opportunities while also helping to care for her parents. The costs associated with study, including travel, textbooks, and medications, place further strain on her limited finances.
Any support that can be provided to assist her would be greatly appreciated.
