A newly arrived migrant facing experiencing financial hardship, she is a student learning English as an additional language while also serving as the primary carer for her mother, who lives with a disability. As a victim‑survivor of family violence, she has separated from her husband and is now wants to rebuild her life again. She also cares for her younger brother. Gaining a driving licence has become an essential step for her, both to strengthen her independence and to better support her mother’s daily needs.
