A family have been struggling over recent months after their family life was turned upside down in an unexpected moment. Their 12 your old son went to school as per usual, the school was hosting routine, annual eye checks. Whilst at school, the young boy was diagnosed with a rare eye cancer, located in the back of the socket and placing pressure on the brain and eye. He was rushed to hospital 4 hours away from home for surgery.
The family have been divided ever since, trying to juggle their jobs, healthy children's routines and the care of their 12-year old son. One parent had to resign from work, placing the family under immense financial pressure, but the care demands of their family had to take priority.
