A single mother with two young children, who identifies as Aboriginal, has recently secured safe housing after leaving domestic and family violence. She has recently left a situation involving domestic and family violence. This has left her and her children homeless for a period of time. She has now finally secured safe and stable housing, which is a huge achievement, but she has no belongings at all to furnish her new home or meet the basic needs of her children. The family is starting from scratch and has no household items. Beds will provide safety, comfort, and stability as they begin rebuilding their lives. We are seeking donations of essential household items to help create a safe, comfortable home for her boys.
