Young Mother is in the process of getting the correct payment from Centrelink but until then, is struggling in all aspects of affordability , including, having sufficient funds for petrol.
Due to the very tight budget, having sufficient petrol is often an issue and a barrier.
Having to borrow from friends is exhausting for the young person on top of everything else and not ideal in supporting relationships.
Having some petrol options would assist in being able to attend required appointments but would also enable opportunity and freedom, for travelling to the beach or a park for special bonding time with her toddler.
