40 year old woman. She previously escaped domestic violence & suffered trauma because of this. She has had 2 strokes & has just got out of the hospital. She is struggling with her balance, which is affecting her day-to-day activities and her ability to exercise. She is currently struggling to sleep as she does not have adequate bedding. She has a 10-year-old son who lives with his dad. This is very challenging being separated from him.
The strokes and prior experiences of domestic violence have severely impacted her mental health. Consequently, she spends a lot of time alone with little to no support. As the strokes have reduced her ability to work, she will be going on disability support. Her financial situation is dire. She finds it very hard to be able to afford the basic needs. She mentioned that having basic household items, such as cutlery & vacuum, will help her feel more comfortable in her home and host visitors when she is ready and able. Any help would be appreciated.
