Single parent who is a great Mum and gives everything to her children, she will go with out meals so her children can eat.

A wonderful Mum who lives for her two young kids and struggles trying to make ends meet as a single parent. She will often go with out food so that her children have enough to eat. We have been supporting the family for the last 12 months with food assistance and some other material items. They were recently housed in long term affordable accommodation and the kids had to change schools.
The children are thriving in their new school, they have made friends and are happy and safe in their new home. The eldest child wears glasses and needs a new prescription with a new pair of glasses. The cost of the new glasses will be approximately $300 from Spec savers. Mum cannot afford the cost of the new glasses, with having spent her savings on back to school items and recovering from the school holidays.
