Supporting a Breakfast Drop-In for Vulnerable Community Members

Our centre provides a safe and welcoming space for vulnerable members of our community, including a group of people currently rough sleeping on our site. Many of those who attend our centre face significant challenges, such as housing insecurity, financial hardship, and social isolation.
We are seeking support to help us run a regular breakfast drop-in, which offers more than just a meal. For many attendees, this may be the only consistent access to food, connection, and a sense of dignity and belonging. The breakfast drop-in also allows our staff and volunteers to build trust, provide informal support, and link people with further services when needed.
While our centre is committed to supporting those most at risk, our current funding does not stretch far enough to cover the ongoing costs of providing breakfast. Assistance from the community would help ensure we can continue offering this vital support and create a safe, caring environment for people who need it most.
