This year has brought unimaginable challenges for a resilient mother and her family on the Mid North Coast. Her daughter has endured a series of severe and unexpected health complications that have shaped much of their daily life with uncertainty, hospital visits, and constant care. In the midst of these struggles, her daughter welcomed a baby far earlier than expected—an arrival filled with equal parts fear and fierce love.
Prior to all this the devastating 2025 Mid North Coast floods swept through their community. In a matter of hours, everything they had worked to build was taken. Their home, belongings, and sense of security were washed away, leaving them to navigate recovery while still caring for a newborn and managing ongoing medical needs.
Despite all of this, their determination remains unbroken. They continue to face each day with courage, gratitude, and hope for a safer, more stable future.
