Son is awake most of the night, has high complexed needs, non verbal and displays a lot of aggression , a big child for his age mum struggles to maintain her strength daily in raising him. On the spectrum ALS level 3. Son over powers mum at times and wears her down. Mums strong love for her son and her amazing sense of family is the glue that holds mum together.
Approx 1 month aga after surrendering to sleepiness, mum decided to have a 20 minute power nap, Son was in his room playing with his tablet, mum informed son her door would be open but she was taking a nap. Mum awoke to the sound of smashing glass and the strong smell of smoke. racing out to find her son she ran into a room that was fully alight, upon locating her son they race outside, within minutes the house was fully ablaze. Fire crews arrived however they put out the fire, everything including the house was totally destroyed . Devasted mum and son are homeless, DOH don't have a replacement home for them .
