Client is a 30-year-old Indigenous woman who is currently homeless after leaving her public housing property due to safety concerns. She is working towards reuniting with her two children (aged 3 and 4) who are currently in out of home care. She has weekly visits with them and wants to purchase toys and clothing to provide to them during the visitations. She is struggling financially and unable to afford these purchases.
Her children are due to return to her care in few months in August 2026 if she secures housing, and she would also need support with getting furniture for their bedrooms.
She would really benefit from receiving Kmart vouchers so she can purchase toys, clothing and any other items for her children during visitations, and after they return to her care.
