Since the workplace injury that left him paraplegic, his ability to stay independent has depended on reliable access to technology. The computer is not a luxury—it’s how he manages life: contacting providers, arranging transport/supports, completing online forms, managing medical and administrative tasks, and staying connected to services and community.
He is unable to work and lacks regular income, meaning repair or replacement is not realistically achievable.
