Seeking Assistance for a Financially Struggling Family
GIVIT
We are supporting family of five to move into the transitional property and in need of white goods in settling in a transitional accommodation in our program. The family is not eligible for Centrelink benefits due to their visa status.
The father is the only bread winner with part time work restrictions and has been able to manage few household items on their own. Mother has a language barrier and is attending English session to improve her proficiency and potentially pave way to employment in future. In addition, the carer responsibility has also hindered in seeking employment.
The family is experiencing financially struggle and lack access to essential household items needed to create a safe and functional living environment for themselves.
Currently they are in need of fridge and washing machine and any supports for the family would be much appreciate and would make meaningful difference in helping this family rebuild their lives here.
