Creating a Safe and Secure Home Environment for Two Young Children with High‑Needs Autism

The family experienced homelessness after leaving a domestic and family violence situation, and they are working hard to regain stability. Mum has two young children under three, both diagnosed with high‑needs, nonverbal autism.
Mum currently has no support, as her family disowned her after learning that her children identify as Aboriginal.
Mum requires assistance to make her home safe and secure for her children. We are seeking support to purchase appropriate cabinet locks, a heavy, stable shelving unit that will not tip if the children climb on it, and plastic storage tubs to organise items out of the children’s reach
