The client would like to purchase a small portable security camera from Kmart or Bunnings for her home for additional security due to FDV concerns. The refuge has recently had security breaches, with a person climbing the fence to get into the refuge, and as a result the client's children feel unsafe, and this is contributing to anxiety and sleep disturbance. The refuge has made adjustments with increasing the height of the fence; however the client and her children would feel more secure with a camera in the home for additional safety.

The client is studying English, and her child is attending school and requires support to access a laptop or tablet for his studies. The client receives Centrelink payments only, has no financial support from family or friends, and has requested support. The client advises that her son is very focused on his studies and would benefit from having a laptop or tablet to study on at home, however finances are very tight.
