This young mother is the sole provider and carer for her two young children. This mother currently resides in social housing after experiencing a period of homelessness staying in crisis accommodation. During this time, she experienced ongoing domestic and family violence from dad/ex-partner and his extended family.
Despite these challenges this mother remains deeply committed to promoting her children's wellbeing, happiness and breaking generational cycles. She has demonstrated exceptional resilience and has engaged in therapeutic support to assist with healing and recovery for her family.
Financial relief at this time would have a substantial and positive impact for the family, enhancing mum's capacity to meet the emotional and developmental needs of her children. Further, setting up a safe and welcoming room for her son will support his independence and transition to prep in 2027.
