A grandmother of 4 children and cares for 2 of her grandchildren on a full-time basis. Her grandson is enrolled with a special school and requires constant support to stay safe and healthy. Grandmother is a survivor of domestic and family violence, homelessness and victimization throughout her childhood. She's worked hard to overcome her own health conditions and create a home which is safe, nurturing and meets the kid's needs. Given she is on a fixed income, she does really well to budget for herself and her grandchildren, although, big expenses are difficult to manage. Currently using rent-to-purchase for most of her house furnishings.
This grandmother has done an amazing job to establish herself and care for her family - any financial or material assistance will go a long way for the family.
