We are seeking support for a courageous couple in their 70s who stayed to defend their home during the recent fires. Through incredible bravery, they saved their house but at great cost. All fencing on their property has been destroyed, creating a significant financial burden on a very minimal fixed income.
The emotional impact has also been profound. After facing the trauma of fighting the fire firsthand, they are now coping with stress, exhaustion, and a deep sense of distress that their home survived while others were lost.
Unfortunately, they do not qualify for grants or financial assistance. Donations will help replace essential fencing, ease financial strain, and support their recovery. Every contribution will make a meaningful difference in helping them rebuild and heal.
