As a Case Manager supporting children and youth affected by family and domestic violence, I work closely with young people who face significant and ongoing challenges. Many of our client' experience instability across multiple areas of their lives, including an increased risk of homelessness, exposure to alcohol and other drugs, and a lack of consistent guidance and support to build a life free from violence. A large number of the children and young people we support do not have access to basic necessities and have no financial means to support themselves. Unfortunately, the program I case manage does not have brokerage or emergency financial assistance available. This severely impacts our ability to provide essential resources and immediate support when our clients need it most. Any donations received would make a profound and lasting impact on the lives of our clients.
