Resident's rental property has been fire damaged and unlivable. Smoke and heat destroyed many of their possessions. Resident is unable to replace these items and is uninsured. At this time, they are homeless and staying in a short-term arrangement. This has created an excessive commute for school and poses a severe financial hardship. It is uncertain whether the damaged property will be available in the future. Grocery fuel or food vouchers would enable them to replace lost items, sustain current accommodation and access alternative longer term accommodation.
