I am requesting some assistance for a participant who has not received any help from anywhere to date. He has lost so much. During the 2022 flood his house was covered by a land slide with his wife inside, he was at work when he was told there was a landslip. There was no help as the town was cut off from all services. He was able to dig her out, but she unfortunately she was badly injured physically and mentally and later died of a heart attack from the stress of her ordeal. For months prior to this event he and his wife were unable to work as they were attending to their son who had Leukemia, their son passed not long after the flood and his wife passed away not long after. He fought hard for the Disaster Relief payment but was knocked back because he had earned $200 over their threshold the previous year. He had lost his house, his son, his wife had spent most of his money on trying to save his son and the the funerals both departed. He is in need of some serious help.
