A young single woman has recently been approved for her first rental property after spending the past four months couch surfing between family and friends.
After experiencing a period of housing instability, she is now excited to finally have a place she can call home and begin rebuilding stability and independence.
As this is her first rental property, she currently has very little furniture or household belongings needed to set up her new home. She would greatly benefit from assistance with essential furniture and household items to help make the property safe, comfortable and liveable.
Having a furnished home would give her the opportunity to settle into her new property with dignity and provide the stability she has been working towards. After four months of relying on the generosity of family and friends for somewhere to sleep, having her own home represents an important new beginning.
