Client is residing in a homelessness shelter and requires support to manage ongoing health challenges and daily living needs.
The client is currently residing in a homelessness shelter after experiencing significant housing instability, including sleeping in his car for several months. He lives with multiple health conditions, including Type 2 diabetes, arthritis, scoliosis, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. The client also sustained a serious foot injury that required multiple surgeries and metal plates being inserted, resulting in ongoing pain and the need for supportive footwear. His current shoes, purchased from Athlete's Foot to accommodate his injury, are now worn out and no longer provide adequate support. Assistance with a new pair of supportive shoes will improve his mobility, comfort, and ability to attend appointments and daily activities. Support with essential toiletries is also requested to maintain personal hygiene and wellbeing. The client enjoys drawing, which provides a positive creative outlet and supports his mental health during a challenging period of homelessness.
