Family of three, an elderly couple with adult child were affected by the Victorian January 2026 bushfires. The family’s home was saved; however, all surrounds were destroyed, all outbuildings, fences, chicken coop, and pasture. The family did not have insurance on the property and are struggling financially to recover. They have completed all the clean up themselves, however, still need to rebuild outbuilding and fences. They are struggling to purchase feed for their remaining sheep, and with the costs of rebuilding, to purchase some grocery items for themselves and fuel. They would greatly appreciate some assistance with vouchers.
