This young person has recently been moved interstate to QLD from NSW and is in the care of Child Safety. This young person recently was placed with their older sibling, who is in their early 20s and trying their best to meet the ongoing care needs of the young person. However, due to medical bills, transport, and school fees, they are now feeling quite significant financial pressure. This young person would greatly benefit from grocery and clothing vouchers, to help with alleviating some financial pressures and increasing access to food and basic resources. This would also support this young person to remain placed with their family in a long-term arrangement, increasing connection to family.
