2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods
We are seeking support for an elderly woman who lost everything in the 2025 Mid North Coast floods. She resides in a retirement village and was uninsured at the time of the disaster. Living on a very low income and experiencing mobility challenges, she has not been eligible for government grant assistance.
While she did not have many possessions, what she had were essential items that made her small unit safe, comfortable and functional. The floods have left her starting again from nothing.
Thanks to the generosity of local community groups, she has received support with some furniture and whitegoods. However, there are still several essential items needed to make her home fully liveable again. These requests represent the final pieces of the puzzle in helping her regain comfort, dignity, and independence in her home.
Any assistance would make a meaningful difference in restoring stability and security to her daily life.
